Blackberry Peach Crisp

Made this tonight after dinner from our fresh peaches recently bought and blackberries picked from bushes near our apartment fence!

It was quick, easy, and extremely yummy! Perfect way to end a meal with a little something special.

Just peaches and blackberries.

With crisp topping, right before the oven.

It's done!
(Sorry for the poor picture quality, daylight was escaping.)

Warm, juicy, with a bit of crunch from the topping. We served it with some ice cream on the side and it was delicious!

  2. Cut dry ingredients into butter and sprinkle onto fruit.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

Michael took this picture of the bottom of the pan once everything was baked. Pretty, no?

  3. YUMMY! That exact same dessert is one of our favs! Sometimes we mix it up and do blueberries instead of blackberries, also very good. Raspberries..... Not so much. Too tart! Our recipe is almost exactly the same, I would also recommend a dash or two of ground allspice or ground cloves to the topping with the cinnamon and nutmeg. Mmmmm!
